WHO WE ARE
About Waystream
Waystream provides products fit for FTTH that are reliable, easy to operate and delivers great services. This means that the network can be built faster with better return on investment, more satisfied end-users and a robust solution. We provide switches, routers and related accessories that lets business and residential services be delivered over fiber.
Through the acquisition of Tellus Fiber in 2026, Waystream has also expanded its product offering to include optical components, enabling a more comprehensive and integrated solution for the fiber networks of the future. Tellus Fiber, which is part of the Waystream Group, offers a wide range of fiber-optic products through its online store. Waystream operates in the telecommunications sector helping its customers to build next generation fibre networks.
The head office is located in Kista, with staff in Sweden, China, and India and offices in Hamburg and Shanghai. The product portfolio includes switches and routers adapted for the fibre market and associated peripherals, technical support, training, and consulting. Our customer base and target customers are primarily city networks and operators that own their fibre networks in the Nordic region and Central Europe. Waystream is currently the Nordic market leader in its segment. Our products are manufactured in Lund, Sweden, and all of our switches are carbon-neutral.
Since 2015, the company is listed on NASDAQ First North under the ticker WAYS.

OUR HISTORY
The Origin of Waystream
Waystream was founded in 2001 with the vision of building the digital infrastructure of the future. Since then, we have developed and sold advanced access switches and routers, specifically designed for the FTTx market. Our products are used both in the establishment of new fiber networks and for upgrades of existing networks.
Today, we are the market leader in the city network segment in the Nordics and have a growing customer base in Central Europe. Our customers include city networks, operators, and property owners—ranging from smaller local networks to major international players such as Telia Company, Telenor Group, and DNA in Finland.
Since our listing on Nasdaq First North under the name WAYS on November 12, 2015, Waystream has continued to grow and evolve. Our business model is scalable and built on a strong partner network, with production in Sweden through NOTE AB in Lund. This provides both flexibility and sustainability in our supply chain.
Sustainability is a cornerstone of our business. Since July 2022, all our access switches have been 100% climate compensated. We are affiliated with the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) with the goal of reducing our emissions by 42% by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2050. Our products are WEEE-marked, and we use third-party verified climate contribution labels with full transparency.
We actively work to reduce our environmental impact through energy-efficient solutions, shorter transport routes, and production using green electricity. Our sustainability plan also includes social engagement and gender equality, with the goal of achieving a 50/50 gender distribution throughout the organization.
In 2021, we launched four new product series that were well received by the market. Since then, we have continued to invest in product development, including optics, where we offer some of the most energy-efficient optical components on the market.
From 2021 to 2024, we conducted an extensive field trial together with our customer Lunet as part of a major pan-European research program. We analyzed data using AI from more than 1,000 switches with the aim of increasing availability and simplifying operations.
Waystream is well equipped for the future. With a clear sustainability profile, increasing market share, and a growing presence outside the Nordics —particularly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—we are ready to meet tomorrow's needs for fast, secure, and sustainable digital infrastructure.
