German-speaking Account Manager

Do you want to build Waystream's business in the DACH region – for real?

Waystream is expanding internationally and is now looking for an Account Manager with a focus on the DACH region. This role is perfect for someone who wants to take full ownership of the business – from the first conversation to long-term customer relationships – and thrives in a technical, entrepreneurial company. The position is based in Kista (hybrid).

About the role

  • Own and develop customers and prospects with a focus on the DACH region.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and long-term account development.
  • Work closely with other Salespeople, Pre-Sales, and Product Managers to close deals.
  • Participate in customer meetings, workshops, tenders, and negotiations.
  • Responsible for quotations, follow-ups, and business strategies for each customer.
  • Travel within the region occurs (about 1-2 times per month).

Your profile

Requirements:
  • Fluent in business German (both spoken and written) – this is a strict requirement.
  • Very good Swedish and English.
  • Experienced in working in a structured and independent manner with own customer responsibility.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical decision-makers (CTOs, network managers, purchasing).
  • Familiar with various sales tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft-based applications.
Meritorious:
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within networking, IT, or telecommunications.
  • Experience with operators, municipal networks, or system integrators.
  • Technical understanding of access networks, switches, or optics.
  • Experience with tenders (RFI/RFP) in DACH countries.

Location

Kista Science Tower.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we are in the office in Kista, unless we're with a customer. On other days, we work from home.
