Waystream becomes member of the Market Intelligence Committee FTTH Council Europe

Waystream, who develops and sells advanced digital infrastructure such as switches and routers for broadband fiber networks, has now joined the Market Intelligence Committee of the FTTH Council Europe. Waystream will be represented by Waystream marketing manager, Joana Castelar.

FTTH Council Europé is an industry organization whose role is to speed up the access to fiber based high speed networks that benefit consumers and businesses. The Market Intelligence Committee (MIC) is tasked with gathering marketing data and information based on the market development for FTTH Council Europe. The committee is also responsbile for a number of publications that are distibuted by the FTTH, among those are publications that contain marketing data and rankings.

- As a vendor of fiber networking infrastructure, it is of course good for use to be represented at the FTTH Council. Partly because it is a good source of information that can increase our understanding of market trends and tendencies, and partly because it gives us the opportunity to grow our circle of contacts and spread information about our product portfolio and our solutions, says Joana Castelar, Waystream Marketing Manager.

The Market Intelligence Committee is led by Jan Schindler. Committee members are elected for one year.
