Waystream ramps up and expands sales organisation with two new recruitments

Waystream, who develops and sells advanced digital infrastructure such as switches and routers for fiber broadband networks, continues to expand and reinforce the sales organisation with Thomas Mittig and Simon Ornstein. Both Thomas Mittig and Simon Ornstein start in the spring and their initial focus will be to strengthen Waystreams position on the Swedish marke

- We are extremely satisfied to expand our sales force with two more persons. Both Thomas and Simon have valuable experience from our branch and have much to contribute to our operations. To begin with, the expansion will provide an increased focus on Sweden where we currently see great potential. But we will also target other markets soon, says Johnny Hedlund. Waystream CEO.

Thomas Mittig, who takes the new position as salesperson and business developer on May 1st, has over 25 years experience in the IT industry. He has previously worked at Avaya Sweden and Arrow ECS, an IT reseller of servers and storage, networking and security products as well as virtual infrastructure, where has had a number of roles within sales and business development. Thomas has long experience of channel- and partner sales, deep knowledge of IT infrastructure and how to present this in value terms to customers, and a wide network of contacts that will assist in the development of Waystream sales and partnership with other manufacturers.

Simon Ornstein, starts as a new salespersion on April 24th.  Simon has previous experience of investigative selling in the fiber networking, event and telecom industry. He has previously worked as a sales project manager responsible for fiber rollouts in Sweden.
