2023.04.14 – The first quarter of 2023 was another good quarter, in which we exceeded our growth target. It gave us great pleasure to be able to begin deliveries to our large customer in Germany, and that we inaugurated our new office in the Hamburg region, which entailed some initial costs but will contribute to greater opportunities for dialogue with potential customers. 2023.02.16 – The fourth quarter of 2022 was another record quarter for Waystream, where we attained revenue growth of 94% and an improved operating result of 97% compared to 2021. Underlying this turnover growth is the fact we succeeded in maintaining the high production rate from the third quarter, and as such were able to meet the increased demand communicated throughout the year via our increased customer base. The fact that we then ended the quarter by signing a three-year framework agreement with Telia Company for the Nordics and the Baltic regions gives us a positive outlook for the Company's future development.

2022.05.12 – Press release May 12, 2022 Waystream's partner NetNordic Sweden has signed a multi-year framework agreement with Kurbit, which is Dalarna's largest communications operator, and a joint venture for five city network companies in Dalarna and eight Dalarna municipalities*. The agreement pertains to Kurbit’s intention to replace its existing access equipment, which includes 50 000 customer connections, to Waystream's switches.

2021.06.21 –   RegioNet Schweinfurt GmbH, part of Stadtwerke Schweinfurt GmbH, municipal utilities of the city of Schweinfurt with 54,000 inhabitants, was looking for a new provider of FTTH-solutions with highly dependable solutions. After an extensive test period the choice fell on Waystream for upgrading and building new FTTH-infrastructure for 5,000 private homes.

2021.06.07 – Waystream, a Swedish supplier of active equipment for fiber optic networks, has received a new order from Kabelnoord, one of the major cable TV operators in the Netherlands. In 2020 Kabelnoord chose Waystream as a new supplier for their network equipment in the fiber network. Kabelnoord has now submitted a new order concerning the upgrade and replacement of cable networks to FTTH (Fiber to the Home). The network currently comprises approximately 20,000 customers in the northern part of the country.

2021.03.31 – Waystream's presence in Norway has now been further consolidated. An existing customer has through Waystream's Norwegian partner NetNordic Norway renewed its trust and placed an order comprising 300 switches. The order will be delivered in 2021 and consists of a large number of Waytream's flagship product, the access switch ASR8048.

2020.06.05 – The Swedish technology company Waystream, which manufactures products for broadband networks, has signed an agreement with the contract manufacturer NOTE AB. The agreement means that Waystream can transfer parts of its production to Note's Swedish factory in Lund as needed. Waystream also has manufacturing in China.

2020.06.01 – Waystream has received an order for the access-switch model ASR8000. The switches will be installed in Torsås municipality in the Småland province of Sweden. The initial installation during the autumn of 2020 is 500 connections and another 1000 connections during 2021. Using the ASR8000 it will be possible to deliver services in up to 10Gbit/s speed.

2020.05.19 – The Swedish technology company Waystream that provides equipment for fiber networks has initiated a research project on machine learning and artificial intelligence in relation to operation of broadband and city networks. The aim of the project is to evaluate various methods for machine learning and artificial intelligence to be used in the operation of fiber-based broadband networks in order to improve availability and reliability for end-users.

2020.03.30 – Waystream has received an order for 10Gbit/s switches. Using the Waystream ASR8000 a city network in the Skåne region of south Sweden plans to deploy 4,800 customer ports that supports up to 10Gbit/s speed. The city network becomes one of the fastest city networks in Sweden.

2019.10.01 – Swedish technology company Waystream launches a new series of superlowpower-SFP modules for network equipment. The new modules supports up to 10Gbit/s speed and gives businesses and operators a quick and easy way to reduce their climate emissions. Lower power consumption means lower greenhouse gas emissions from the electricity. In addition money is saved on the electricity bill. Lower power consumption also means less heat dissipation from the network equipment and that leads to a double savings if active cooling is used for the network equipment.

2018.03.21 – Waystream today announces an important upgrade of its portfolio of access switches for broadband networks. A new version of the gigabit switches in the ASR6000 and MS4000 series is being launched, where the main change is that the products have been revised to meet the requirements of the Swedish chemical tax legislation in Certain Electronics from 2017. Waystream is the first provider of broadband networking equipment that provides products that comply with the law's intention to reduce the incidence of harmful chemicals in electronics. The Operator has a contractual relationship with hundreds of Local Cable Operators (LCO).
